Are Probiotics and Antibacterial Products Making You Sicker?
The same case applies here, we have in our gut at any one time a large array of bacteria and unless we have had a course of antibiotics, which destroy everything bacterial in their path, we constantly renew our own bacteria naturally.
Of course if this is an unusual occurrence an over-the-counter product is fine.
Following a course of antibiotics plain yoghurt should start the renewal process but a single course of a probiotic could also help.
The only instance this advice doesn’t apply is where someone has become so debilitated through digestive tract issues that outside help is needed and this is being borne out by recent research where some people have no recourse but to seek medical intervention, but if we don’t overdo the band aid solutions this shouldn’t need to happen.
I cannot believe how we have all been conned into striving to be so clean! What we are doing, along with the years of misuse of antibiotics, is creating a big problem for ourselves by making us susceptible to life itself.
We need some exposure to dirt, dust and nature generally, we cannot survive without it.
